Family Beach Day

Come prepared for fun in the sun with your WSLSC family (bring your speedos) and enjoy hanging out with old club mates as you remember your time in the club. We’ll provide the entertainment with activities organised by past and present club members for the whole family to enjoy.

• When: Saturday 6 December, 2025 from 10am – 2pm
• Where: Waimārama Surf Life Saving Club
  9 Moori Road, Waimārama Beach
• For: Clubbies past & present; Waimārama club supporters
• Cost: Free

What’s Included:

• A tour of the (new) Clubhouse and Tower
• Rescue four ways, IRB, Board, Swim and Reel demonstrations
• Be part of your Decade Group photo (when you qualified as a Lifeguard)
• Coffee and Food Truck available to buy lunch out at the beach
• Activities for the kids

75th Celebration Dinner

A celebration dinner to commemorate 75 years of the club. A night to put your glad rags and bring your dancing shoes.

• When: Saturday 6th December 2025 from 5:30pm to midnight
• Where: ToiToi Events Centre, Hastings
• For: Clubbies past and present and supporters. Suitable for ages 14+
• Dress code: Formal
• Cost: $85

What’s Included:

• Special guest speakers: the amazing Aimee Fisher and Nigel Avery
• Buffet meal with all the trimmings and a complimentary drink
• Dance the night away with Naked Gun band, guaranteed to turn up the celebration vibe!
