Clubbie of the Month – September

Kail Mackenzie

Kail Mackenzie is being awarded clubbie of the month for September 2019.

Kail has become a key member of Waimārama SLSC during the past few seasons, clocking up some serious patrol hours, whilst continuing to learn and develop his lifeguarding skill.

Kail along with 14 other junior lifeguards has just completed his crewmans module.

Kail has spent his spare time helping out around the club during the winter months.  Not everyone is keen to lend a hand to projects happening around the club but Kail has jumped in without being asked and taken on some jobs helping senior clubbies out with developments around the surf club. Fixing motors, general cleaning and helping build a new helmet and life jacket rack.  Kail is a quick learner and is always keen to give things a go, which bodes well for his future.
