WSLSC Raffle – Hastings City New World Trolley Grab Terms and Conditions

Prize draws are exclusive to Hasting City New World.
Entries must comply with these terms and conditions to be valid.
New World Hastings reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions without notice.
The winners will be drawn on Monday 3rd March 2025 by the WSLS Club Chair under supervision at the Havelock North Fire Station.
Winners will be contacted via phone.

Winners must collect their prize from Hastings City New World at a pre-arranged time with the store.
The winning Grocery Grabs will be run on 26th March 2025 from 7:00am.
The winners will meet the owners of Hasting City New World and staff at the café for a debrief prior to the Grocery Grab.
All store guests are required to sign into our contractors register on arrival and sign out on leaving.
Grocery Grab items are to be paid for on the day of the grab, unless by prior arrangement.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

Winners will be announced on our social media channels.
Winners agree to their names being published and to being photographed and/or videoed by Waimārama Surf Lifesaving Club and Hastings City New World.
Waimārama Surf Lifesaving Club may use winners’ names, photographs, videos, and/or interviews for publicity purposes, including on social media.

Two people of the winner’s choice will take part in the grocery grab, one trolley pusher and one grabber.
There is a Grabber (collecting the items) and a Pusher (pushing the trolley).
The trolley pusher can only push the trolley, there is to be no grabbing from the trolley pusher.
The Pusher cannot assist the Grabber in selecting items.
The start line is at the entrance to the Produce department.
The Grabber or Pusher cannot open or reach into any cabinets not usually accessible to the public.
The Grabber or Pusher cannot access any areas of the store not usually accessible to the public
The Grabber must collect at least 1 x Fresh Meat item, 1 x Fresh Vegetable item, 1 x Fresh Bakery product, and 1 x Frozen product.
A limit of no more than two of the same sort of products (e.g., maximum two Sprite 24 packs or two leg lamb roasts). These will be checked upon arrival at check out, any items will be removed if they go above the limit.
Alcohol, Lotto, Instant Kiwi, gift vouchers ,tobacco products, razor and razor blades are excluded from the Grocery Grab.
The Grabber may not strong-arm items; all items must be picked up.
Extra trolleys will be placed at the end of the aisles for the Grabber and Pusher to use, if required.

By entering this draw, participants agree to filming and photography being taken and used for promotional purposes by Waimārama Surf Lifesaving Club and New World Hastings.

The Fundraiser will start on 12 December 2024 and end on Friday 28 February 2025.
All entries, spare tickets and money are to be returned to Waimārama Surf Lifesaving Club no later than Friday 28 February 2025.
Tickets will be sold by WSLS club members at Waimārama Beach; outside Hastings City New World; online via email and direct debit, once payment is received tickets will be available for pick up.
A maximum of 1,500 tickets.
The winners will be drawn on Monday the 3rd March 2025 by the WSLS Club Chair under supervision at the Havelock North Fire Station.
Winners will be announced publicly on Monday 3 March 2025 on the Waimārama Surf Lifesaving Club Facebook page, and the winners will be notified via a phone call.
Waimārama Surf Lifesaving Club members and their families are able to purchase tickets.
